Establishment
The Southern Gujarat Commercial Tax Bar Association, Surat was founded in 1957-58, and the Association currently has 350 members in South Gujarat region. The primary goal of the Association is to create a knowledge bank for its members through the organization of conferences, study circle meetings, brain trust meetings, and other events. The Association also contributes to society by conducting blood donation camps and other social events.
Practices
The Association represents the challenges and proposals about legislative impediments and day-to-day practice of the association's members and trade associations. The association is always looking to improve its members' expertise, and one of the most notable examples of this is carrying out taxpayer awareness and educational programs for the benefit of the general public.
Respect
The attitude of the Association is always been very free and generous. It has been a tradition of the Association for elders and seniors in the profession to always lend a helpful hand to juniors. The Association held family gatherings for its members and also honoured senior members by bestowing the LIFE TIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD to those who dedicated their time and knowledge to the Association's advancement.
